PPC All-Member Meeting – Saturday, Feb. 28 at 12:00 p.m.
The annual Power Play Club All-Member Meeting is set for this coming Saturday, February 28 at 12:00 p.m. and will be held in the Baseline Tennis Center Club Room (adjacent to Ridder Arena).
We encourage all club members to attend as we hold Board of Director elections and gather feedback on what we can – and should – be doing better to support both the Gopher Women's Hockey team and the membership in upcoming seasons. News on an potential upcoming fundraising effort may also be shared.
GWH Senior Celebration Reminder
For those of you who RSVPed to coach Jess Scott, the 2025-2026 GWH Senior Celebration is scheduled to follow Saturday's WCHA quarterfinal game, beginning at approximately 5:30 p.m. at Club Cambria inside Huntington Bank Stadium. Paying attendees are also reminded that the fee is due upon check-in, and any checks should be made payable to University of Minnesota.
2026 WCHA playoff quarterfinal pairings set; Minnesota to host St. Cloud State in best-of-three series
Upon completion of the WCHA regular season earlier this afternoon (Sunday, February 22), the Gopher Women's Hockey team finished as the #3 seed for the conference playoffs, posting an 18-9-1-1 conference record (1-2 in OT). As a result, the Gophers will face #6-seed St. Cloud State in a best-of-3 conference quarterfinal series at Ridder Arena next weekend.
Game times are set for...
Friday, February 27 at 6:00 p.m.
Saturday, February 28 at 2:00 p.m.
Sunday, March 1 at 3:00 p.m. (if necessary)

Season ticket holders should have received tickets for the quarterfinal series as part of their package, and should contact the U. of M. Ticket Office at 1-800-U-GOPHER with any questions or concerns. Tickets for each of the three contests are available to purchase on the ticket office website.
All-session packages and single-session tickets for the 2026 WCHA Final Faceoff, being played at Lee & Penny Anderson Arena in St. Paul, are on sale through the St. Thomas ticket office; please refer to the website for prices.

Semifinal Game 1: Thursday, March 5 at 4:00 p.m.
Semifinal Game 2: Thursday, March 5 at 7:30 p.m. (approximately)
Championship Game: Saturday, March 7 at 2:00 p.m. CT

2026 NCAA Frozen Four, March 20 & 22 – The 2026 NCAA Frozen Four is being played at Pegula Ice Arena in State College, PA, hosted by Penn State University. Tickets are on sale through PSU's Ticketmaster site or by phone at 1-800-NITTANY.
