Bio: Bill Johnson is the current president of the Power Play Club. He has been a Gopher women's hockey season ticket holder since the program began in 1997, and is also a long time season ticket holder for Gopher men's hockey. Bill works part time as Event Staff for Gopher athletic events, and is a U of M alumnus, earning Bachelor and Master degrees in electrical engineering.
Dave Malerich

Bio: Dave Malerich has followed Gopher Women's Hockey since the opening game in 1997, and is a high school classmate of GWH inaugural season captain Julie (Otto) Greeley. After playing with the U. of M. Pep Band during the team's first few seasons, he continues to attend GWH games - both at home and on the road - as a fan (and a fanatic). Away from Ridder Arena, Dave plays percussion with the U. of M. Alumni Band and the Inver Hills Community Band, and also sings in two groups at church.

Bio: Paula Rice Biever has been attending Gopher's Women Hockey games and a Power Play Club member since the 2012-2013 season. She enjoys the enthusiasm and hard work ethic that is so evident in the women's game and the community atmosphere between fans, players and families. Among her other interests are reading (especially science and science fiction), knitting, and volunteering as a support group facilitator for the Lewy Body Dementia Association.

Linda Kenny

Bio: I am rejoining the PPC in 2023 after a hiatus. Previously I was membership and locker sponsorship program director. We grew the locker sponsorship program from just a few players sponsored to all of the players and coaches. I retired from the University in 2018 but still wear my maroon and gold proudly.
Todd King

Bio: I’ve been a Gopher Women’s Hockey season ticket holder since 2014, a Power Play Club member since 2017, and joined the Board in the summmer of 2020. I love the GWH brand of hockey, the venue at Ridder and the camaraderie of the fans. I’m also a Gopher Women’s Volleyball season ticket holder.
I am a consultant working with small businesses and help run a nonprofit that I co-founded. When I’m not watching Gopher sports, I like to work on projects around the house, play with my grandkids and barbecue.

Bio: Rennie McPherson has been attending Gopher Women's Hockey since 2002. She has been a season ticket holder and a member of the board since 2015. Interests outside of GWH include photography of her FAVORITE subject -- GWH !!
John Conner

Bio: I’ve been involved with hockey in some form or fashion (player, coach, board member or parent) since the age of 4. I was born and raised in Minnesota and lived here until 2008 when our family moved to Arizona. We moved back in 2019 so my daughter, Emma Conner and current Gopher, could finish her high school career in the "State of Hockey."
In my professional life, I am a SVP for BOK Financial, managing the Vendor Finance program for the US market. In my spare time I like to volunteer, watch sports and spend time with my family.
